Fiddler and Windows Phone 7 emulator - redirect to proxy

I am just curious - did anyone got Fiddler to work with Windows Phone 7 emulator (RTW build)? When I try working with Fiddler, I am getting a WebException when working with HttpWebRequest insances - NotFound, to be specific. WireShark works fine. The problem I see here is that Fiddler acts as a proxy and the WP7 application I am using doesn't go through a proxy to pass the request, while WireShark works differently - it doesn't directly pass traffic through it. Tools for setting up Proxy Chain

We are trying to setup a chain of proxy server in our development system. We wanted to connect to a service through these proxies. The reason why we thought about proxy chaining is that there is no connectivity to the service from all the systems. So we thought we will run a proxy on one system, which will connect to a proxy on another system and so on. Client ---> A (Proxy)--->B(proxy)---->Final destination Could you please suggest some tools to achieve this? The service that we hav

How to set up a ping tunnel without a host and a proxy

I have been reading about setting up a ping tunnel to access the internet when you can only send ICMP packets. Ptunnel seems to be a popular program and the instructions to use it can be found here http://www.cs.uit.no/~daniels/PingTunnel/. The instructions to this program say that you must have both a client and proxy computer. I do not understand the benefit of a ping tunnel if you must have a proxy computer that can send TCP/IP packets. If I had a computer that could do that, I wouldn't n

How to set proxy for JMeter from behind another proxy?

Proxy JProfiler - how to profile remote application when there is firewall?

I successfully managed to install the JProfiler remote probe and I see it running in 'catalina.out' (Tomcat). The only problem is that all ports on the remote machine are firewalled (except for 80 and 8080) and no matter which port I chose, the JProfiler GUI can't connect to the remote probe. I tried to use PuTTY tunneling but I'm not really sure how to set up the tunneling rules. Moreover, it seems that there are no 'network preferences' in JProfiler where I can specify SOCKS proxy. How can I

Proxy Full Clustering in Apache Traffic Server

I followed the steps mentioned in the official documentation for full clustering of multiple ATS instances. I installed 2 instances of ATS on 2 different Ubuntu machines (having the same specs, OS versions and hardware), and both of these act as a reverse proxy for web service hosted on a Tomcat server in a different machine. I wasnt able to set up the cluster. Here are some of the queries that I have. They are on the same switch or same VLAN : The two Ubuntu machines on which I installed the

Elasticsearch Proxy Kibana through Zuul

I'm actually working on elsasticsearch technologies and I want to use kibana behind a proxy. My choice went to zuul as it's easy to use and allow me to do dynamic routing. But I'm facing an issue. All the page seemed load correctly, but I can't create a default index pattern through the proxy. My guess is that spring-cloud-netfix with zuul does not support redirects (like with ProxyPassReverse in Apache2) so redirects go to the physical URL of the proxied application what typically means that th

Is it possible to proxy the html get request to /graphql from a create-react-app?

I have a create-react-app application in which I enabled the proxy by adding: "proxy": "http://localhost:3001", to my package.json. That's working well for API requests to /graphql, but when the web browser request /graphql (for the purpose of loading the UI to run queries) gets handled by the frontend and not proxied. Is it possible to also proxy it? Same thing happens when I try to do OAuth by visiting https://localhost:3000/auth/facebook, the frontend handles it instead of the backend.

Charles Proxy Rewrite vs MapLocal

I've been working with Charles proxy these past few days to attempt to mock out a few responses specifically the rewrite tool. I was surprised to find that the Rewrite tool can't rewrite the response with data it gleans from the request. As powerful as it is, and it really is powerful some of the shortcomings I've found or haven't figured out how to achieve with the rewrite tool are :- Doesn't intercept the call as such, it just rewrites the request/response on the way in and the way out. Can't

Proxy Hoverfly mock not being hit by proxied Axios request

Proxy performance tuning ask for advice

Could not change Nutch http proxy scheme to basic

No matter what I typed, it always goes to NTLM. I want my scheme as basic. With my proxy, id and pwd, curl works. However Nutch does not work. I think it could be the matter of encoding(capital letter, etc.), so want to figure it out. iptables or proxy to redirect traffic to "slaves" without traffic continuously passing through "main" server?

I have a setup with a "main" server and then a set of "slaves" that do the hard work. All users connect to the "main" that then redirects them to a "slave". Ideally I want the system to work in such a way that a user connects to "main" who then redirects to a "slave" and then all future communication is done directly between the user and the "slave" without any packets passing through the "main". Right now I'm using iptables with: iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p udp -j DNAT --dport $

Do I have to export BURP certificate and import it

Proxy Migrating a service from one docker container to another with zero downtime

I am trying to experiment with container service migration. I have three machines where two of them have the exact service running which does some work and returns some HTML data. Proxy Why is the zone "asia-northeast1-a" showing up as in California instead of Japan

According to https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/regions-zones/, the region/zone "asia-northeast1-a/b/c/" should suppose to be in Tokyo, Japan. But once I came up with the virtual machine with that zone/region, an IP trace/lookup website such as http://www.ip-tracker.org/locator/ip-lookup.php would say the VM is still in California where Google is. I meant to have the VM set up as a proxy (server) so that the VM appears to be in Japan to be able to browse content restricted to Japan. Am I misu

Minimal example of using grunt-connect-proxy

I have an angularJs App which I built with grunt and a server backend written in Java running on a tomcat server. To wire those together when development I wanted to use grunt-connect-proxy. That turned out not to be really useful in finding my problem. What does a minimal (!) example look like?
